Singing
Beginning & Intermediate Voice, all ages5pm-6pm Wednesday
As newcomers to vocal technique, students in this class learn the basics of posture, breathing, range, and proper tonal production in a group setting. Students will be assigned music according to voice type, perform frequently for each other, and gain a better understanding of the voice by watching the instructor work with their classmates.
Advanced Voice, all ages†7pm-8pm Wednesday
The advanced voice student has an understanding of proper tonal production, posture, and breathing. We will work hands on to press the vocal limits of the student's abilities in a group setting while also offering encouragement and critique to fellow classmates.
Acting
Scenes & Monologues, ages 12-184pm-5pm Wednesday
In this class, students get a more in-depth study of acting. Together, they will research and perform monologues and scenes for the rest of the class and receive critiquing from instructors on how to delve more deeply into their characters.
Adventures in Theatre, ages 6-114pm-5pm Monday & 11am-12pm Thursday
This interactive class teaches young actors to embrace their imaginations by embarking on journeys through classic stories brought to life by the magic of theatre. Through games, storytelling, and improvisation, students will learn to use their full body, voice, and imagination to tackle the challenges characters face in these timeless narratives.
Improv, all ages6pm-7pm Tuesday
Step into advanced work as we break every convention we know of and create some new ones along the way. Students in this class will learn how to assess the energy in the room more quickly, how to participate in it, and, more importantly, how to play in it. Most of the class is about unlocking you to a point where you are milking the fun in each and every moment on stage and off. WARNING: Hilarity will ensue.
Drama, ages 12-187pm-8pm Monday
For the serious actor, students explore characters and relationships on a deeper level. In this class, students will track a character's journey through a scene and learn to further articulate the essential elements of a chracter's objectives, obstacles, conflicts, and relationships.
Dancing
Stage Right's dance classes are separated by skill level rather than age in order to provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for those older dancers who are just getting started. Our goal is to make everyone feel like a star!
Combo I, all ages (beginner)4pm-5pm Tuesday
This is a beginner's combination class that includes ballet and tap technique. Basic rhythm and tap choreography, as well as the foundations of ballet, will be taught. All classes are taught with a style and steps relating to Broadway shows.
Combo II, all ages (intermediate/advanced)6pm-7pm Tuesday
This is a combination class that includes ballet and tap technique. Rhythm and tap choreography, as well as the foundations of ballet, will be taught. Difficulty of steps will depend on class experience. All classes are taught with style and steps relating to Broadway shows.
Jazz I, all ages (beginner)5pm-6pm Tuesday
This is a beginning jazz class for students who are new to jazz technique. Students will increase their musical awareness, start memorizing routines, and develop their self esteem through the art of dance.
Jazz II, all ages (intermediate/advanced)7pm-8pm Thursday
We emphasize at least one to two years' dance experience for this class. Students will improve technique, combination skills, and flexibility, as well as become skilled at naming movements and learning more choreography at a faster pace. They will also be introduced to more technical jumps, leaps, and turns.
Audition Prep, ages 12-18 (all skill levels)6pm-7pm Thursday
In this class, students will learn a new 16-bar dance step every week, teaching students to become adaptable, quick learners who can master the art of the Broadway dance audition. Dance styles will be chosen each week from Broadway show excerpts and will vary in levels of difficulty ranging from simple to more complex as the semester progresses.
Multi-Discipline
Broadway, all ages‡5pm-6pm Monday & Thursday
Combining singing and dancing, students enrolled in this class will spend a series of three four-week sessions learning the dance steps and singing harmonies of chorus numbers to be performed at the end of the semester. This class is a co-teacher opportunity for students to get the best of both worlds. Classes are held twice a week and students must attend both classes.
Singing The Story, all ages4pm-5pm Thursday
Combining singing with acting, this class is for the singer who wishes to hone in their craft by learning to convey the emotional content of the composer. Here we explore how to get into character, back story, what is taking place in the musical during the song, etc. Students are assigned songs according to their voices and frequently perform for each other both as soloists and as a group throughout the semester.
Triple Threats I, ages 6-116pm-7pm Wednesday
Students in this group bond together to create small performances where they show off their newly acquired skills: singing, acting, and dancing! Thus the "triple threat" is born. There is no adition required for this class. Throughout the year they will put on skits, shorts, and one act shows. Parents are encouraged to attend performances. Students in this class are encouraged to register for classes in all three art forms with this class serving as any on of the three.

Master Class, all ages8pm-9pm Friday*
This class is held once a month with all art forms present and performing as a vehical for teaching students proper performance techniques and audience etiquette as well as a way for students to see what other classes are learning. Students may perform either a solo or in groups, or may choose a selection from class approved in advance by the instructor. Each student must perform a minimum of once per semester. Parents are encouraged to attend.
Childhood Development
Baby Music, ages 0-210am-11am Wednesday
This is a “Mommy & Me” music class that will thrill both children and adults! This educational class will feature classical music, Broadway, and favorite nursery rhymes in a fun, upbeat environment. The instructor will lead group activities and sing alongs as your young musician is exposed to new rhythm patterns, melodies, and a diversity of percussion instruments each class session. Baby music will stimulate important language development and increase music appreciation.
Bitty Broadway, ages 1-210am-11am Tuesday
This “Mommy & Me” class is to teach your little drama queen or king to sing and dance to the songs of Broadway! Students play theatre games and practice songs from Broadway shows. The confidence and comfort with the stage is fully developed in this class as students enjoy the excitement of learning the art of Broadway performing.
Broadway Babies, ages 3-411am-12am Tuesday & 3pm-4pm Thursday
Sing, dance, and perform! Boys and girls will have lessons in vocal technique, emotional expression, acting, movement, and stage elements. This class promotes self confidence, emotional awareness, and dramatic expression.
Broadway Kids, ages 5-76pm-7pm Monday
Sing, dance, and perform! Boys and girls will have lessons in vocal technique, emotional expression, acting, movement, and stage elements. This class promotes self-confidence, emotional awareness, and dramatic expressions.
Twinkle Toes, ages 3-54pm-5pm Thursday
This class is a favorite for our little tappers. Learning the basics for tap dance and coordination skills, our dancers have fun dancing to upbeat music with high energy. The dancers learn to become the rhythm in music! Rhythm patterns and steps are taught and each child will have special moments to shine!
Private Lessons
Private instruction is available in all discipline areas. Lesson times are managed on a case-by-case basis contingent upon such factors as the instructor's schedule and space availability in the Stage Right facility. As with classes, private sessions are scheduled through the studio, cost $25 per half hour session, and are subject to the normal studio policies.
